My Kodak

About Kodak

Kodak began when I was a welfare officer at university. I had a basic phone so people could contact me at social events where I helped look out for everyone.

After a while, I started taking photos too with my crappy 360 pixel phone. I wanted to be part of the night, not just the person making sure everyone was okay. I kept photographing people, and it gradually became an ongoing thing. Somewhere along the way, I started using a Kodak camera, and the running joke began: I’m a professional photographer!

The photos are blurry, oddly framed and far from perfect, but they capture the people and moments that made the night. This blog is a place to share those pictures and the stories behind them. Each post starts with a photo and a quick preview. Click through for the longer story.

Life doesn’t have to look polished to be worth remembering. My camera might not take perfect photos, but it gets the moment.

Kodak Stories

Every picture has a story. Browse moments from my little Kodak camera, then open a post to read what was happening behind the picture. The photos may be blurry or oddly framed, but the moments are real and worth keeping.
